It is extremely difficult to completely get rid of this this Trojan. McAfee asks for additional charges to help to remove over and above your licence fees.This is not being helpful. "... It was quite easy to initially install & scan all that. But, I expected the software to get rid of all the bad things from my laptop during first few scans but it didn't. Probally got rid of 40% of them in first few scans. Then after few days the McAfeeDatabackup or similar software component started crashing & taking down my windows explorer as well. So every bootup I killed the McAfeeDatabackup from task manager & things were fine. After 2-3 weeks I guess my 95% of bad things from laptop are removed. But it takes little longer to startup my PC. I am happy that it removed most of malware, spyware, adware & Trojans albeit after 2-3 weeks of operation..."
